Furniture Restoration
&
Reproduction of Architectural Profiles and Elements

Since 1976 Orth Furniture has offered complete repair and restoration for your wood or metal furniture. David Orth has encountered virtually every sort of furniture problem there is and fixed it - fixed it nicely and fixed it permanently.

Orth also serves the home remodeling business providing short runs of moldings and other critical architectural elements to match older profiles and detailing that are no longer available commercially.

Please consider letting us take care of your furniture whether it is 150 years old or 5 years old,
whether it is traditional or contemporary,
or whether it is made of wood or metal.

This rare Gothic Revival side table with shelf had seen better days.
Several parts of the carved filigree had to be replaced and hand carved.
The budget was limited, so while no refinishing was done,
the colors were matched and it was returned to the owner serviceable and freshly cleaned.

This rocker came to us as a large box of broken parts, much of it missing.
I wish I had a picture of that disaster scene. The seat was destroyed.
There were missing spindles. The entire thing was black and gummy.
Missing and destroyed parts were carefully copied, the entire chair painstakingly reassembled,
and refinished to bring out the beauty and flash of the quarter sawn oak.
